Course Focus

The practical labs introduced students to applied big data workflows and distributed computing tools, with an emphasis on PySpark, Apache Spark, SparkML, and GraphFrames. Lab content covered working with large datasets, building scalable data processing pipelines, applying machine learning methods in distributed environments, and introducing foundations of streaming data workflows, including Kafka basics.
